Wayneston Bear Workshop - 1 & 8 December 2013

Slyvest, Paula, Me & Chio

We have a big group this time attending the Make a Bear Workshop. 4 students namely Sylvest, Puala, Chio and Mary-Ann took the challenge to create their very first bear. Not for the first time, we have 2 guys signing up for the workshop which is a very encouraging sign. Both guys were very enthusiastic about the workshop; one was making for his loved one while the other was making with passion for art.

The workshop went on for an hour more as all the students strive for perfection and were extremely meticulous. Ultimately, their creations turned out beautiful and prefect to their eyes. The smiles and joy on their faces were priceless. I felt contented and glad that I have helped them achieved what they wanted to learn and do.

This working adult group had much to talk about, almost anything from work, hobbies to their family. The group had so much fun in class, talking too much and look what happened! One of the student had sewn the bear's arm on the leg! On the other hand, the other student was laughing so much, not realising that he too had sewn the wrong side of the arm!

This is the first time I have seen this, hence I have decided to take some pictures to share with you with their approval. Hahahah :)

Thank you Sylvest, Puala, Chio and Mary-Ann for joining us at the Make a Bear Workshop, we hope to see you soon. Wishing you a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!

*Mary-Ann will be joining in the next lesson to complete her bear due to work commitment.

Hugs, Wayne
